Art, colour and craftsmanship come together at i-D Concept Stores in Kolonaki, Athens, for a special creative event by KOORELOO and Thanassis Lalas.

The collaboration explores the meeting point between contemporary art and traditional Greek craftsmanship, transforming familiar materials, textures and techniques into objects with a new visual identity.

For the occasion, artist Thanassis Lalas presents a selection of small, everyday works of art alongside his creative collaboration with KOORELOO — a dialogue between his distinctive artistic language and the brand’s signature woven universe.

At the heart of the project lies the traditional Greek kourelou: reimagined beyond its original context and translated into contemporary bags and accessories through unexpected combinations of materials, colour and technique.

The exhibition at i-D Concept Stores brings these worlds together in an environment filled with art, flowers and colour, celebrating creativity as something that can live beyond the gallery and become part of everyday life.
